So who else mumbles El Psy Konogroo when gulping down the only Hououin Kyouma approved carbonated beverage. Come on don't lie to me! For all of the Steins;Gate junkies out there who else felt like this visual novel, anime, and franchise in general left an unforgettable impression in their otaku soul? And the thing is that the concept is not completely original however it pays tribute to so many aspects of the time travel genre and brings in a whole new spin to those exhilarating and mysterious sci-fi aspects. I can't put my finger on it exactly but the lively characters and the homage to the sacred location, AKIHABARA itself, makes this series timeless on any world line... except the one where... well nevermind, you know what I'm getting at. It's been so many years and it's still so fresh to me whenever I replay the visual novels , watch any of the anime adaptations, or listen to endless loops of the uniquely composed soundtracks. I would have to say this is one of the masterpieces in the history of anime/visual novels, and this isn't just a fanboy speaking, this is the Akiba;Junky seal of approval (-⊡ω⊡)(WARNING: self proclaimed title). Regardless, If you haven't made your way to Akihabara yet I think that it might be time to travel warp speed to the electric district and experience a new angle of the iconic Steins;Gate setting.
